Launching during Antwerp Design Week, F L A T O N S opens its doors as a new culinary destination in Antwerp, where food, design, and social purpose come together.
Created by chefs Sandip Patel (India) and Faeiq Al Mamoori (Iraq), in an interior shaped by GOMMAIRE’s timeless natural aesthetic, F L A T O N S becomes home to both a bold street food experience and a intimate fine dining restaurant, where Indian spice meets Iraqi depth. Expect a place where flavour, culture, and design collide.
More than a restaurant, F L A T O N S is conceived as a living platform, with rotating interventions by national and international guests from the arts world; from exhibitions and talks to performances and unexpected collaborations.
At its core lies a bigger ambition: creating opportunities for young people from precarious refugee backgrounds to build their own entrepreneurial future, offering hope and perspective in a world marked by ongoing crisis.
